5-Day "Advanced” (level 3) Real Life Practical Scenario Undercover Training" for Narcotics, Vice, Intelligence, Gang and Internal Affairs Investigators 

Attendees: This course is designed for Undercover and Plainclothes Officers/Detectives/Agents/Supervisors assigned to Narcotics, Gangs, Intelligence, Internal Affairs, Vice, Human Trafficking, or Specialized Units (Who have prior attendance to the one-week classroom undercover techniques and survival school).

Course Description: This 5-day (36 hour) “Practical Scenario”training has been designed to complement and expand the one-week (Classroom) Undercover Techniques and Survival course.  Dave’s practical "pay it forward" type of training has come from 25 years of undercover instruction and 30 years of undercover experience. Having trained over 16,000 undercover personnel Internationally and Nationally, Instructor Dave Redemann learned early in his teaching career that even though he was blessed to have a wide array of undercover experience and knowledge, he couldn't obtain the knowledge of more than 16,000 undercover personnel on his own. Through the 25 years of undercover practical scenario training, Dave has realized that one of the most beneficial types of training is “realism” based training.  Practical video training allows a student to learn in the most realistic environment without the deadly consequences of mistakes.  The videotaping of scenarios allows the student to visually and audibly reviews their performance along side of an experienced undercover.  The scenarios are designed to progress on a crawl, walk, run degree of difficulty.  Dave’s goal is to provide training to officer in an effort to make sure every undercover officer gets home to their loved ones each and every night. His training is updated with the most current and relevant information each and every time it is instructed.

The training covers: Practical “real life” Undercover Scenarios to include most crimes undercover personnel experience in the real world. Some of the scenarios include: street level narcotics buys, in vehicle narcotics buys, middle and upper level narcotics buys, street level prostitution, escort prostitution, outlaw motorcycle gangs, white supremacist, murder and arson for hire to name a few.  Each student will receive a video recorded unique exposure and practical application to real undercover situations in a safe and evaluated environment. 

Instructors: DAVE REDEMANN'S 30 years of undercover experience has ranged from working Vice, Narcotics, Organized Crime, White Supremacist, Militia Groups, Mexican Drug Trafficking Organizations, Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs and even assisted other F.B.I. undercover personnel on an International Terrorist Case.  Dave has been an undercover for the Seattle Police Department, case agent and an interim supervisor for an undercover unit over a large portion of his 37 year career.

SGT. BRANDON JAMES has been with the Seattle Police Department for over 20 years.  He has supervised the Intelligence Unit and “deep” long term undercover operations for SPD and the FBI.  He is an experienced FBI, narcotics, and intelligence undercover.  He has investigated numerous criminal cases on corrupt police officers.  He currently is the supervisor of Internet Crimes Against Children unit.

Requirements:

Must have completed one-week classroom undercover school prior to attendance in this school.

The number of scenarios each student experiences will depend on the number of students in the class and the number of role players available.

The scenarios can be modified to any unit or agencies primary mission.  We have well over 100 varied scenarios.

Maximum students: 24-30

(This course is designed to be presented at almost any location so agencies can be as fiscally responsible as they can.
